Ancient pink … a dialogue

Ancient pink.
What?
Ancient pink!
Your shirt’s color?
No, the light!
Yes, they try to give those bulbs a sense of color
nowadays,
to mask those horrible E-lamps.
No, I mean
the light outside,
this morning at awakening.
I didn't see it.
Sure, you have to wake up early for that magic!
Don’t tell me your obsession with colors and light
made you coming out of your bed to see the color
of the light at dawn?
Yes I did and I will explain you exactly why.
I can’t wait to hear about this foolishness…

Usually
skies are azure, cloudy gray, burnt orange and all their possible shades …
[musingly]
My dearest sky,
I’m wondering
why this morning at dawn
your color was
let me say at least a bit unusual.
While yesterday at sunset you dressed in burnt orange
I expected,
as far as  I’m allowed to expect something from this,
to see you in a gamboges cover or unsurprisingly in pumpkin,
pink orange,
peach orange,
amber,
orange peel,
rust,
Portland orange,
champagne,
safety orange,
coral…
But this,
a shade of
pink?

Incredible you are talking
to the skies now?

Yes and it is very satisfying
as it opens your mind for imagination.

To me it only tells me if
I will need my umbrella.

You see, u’r using tell.
The sky talks to you so.. open
your ears but also your eyes,
your mind, your thoughts.
Value it’s colors when the clouds
open their doors.

That color this morning?
Yes, what about it?
You said it was pink?
Well not exactly,
it was ancient
pink.
Yes, that is what you said,
ancient pink, hmm
I’m wondering?
Yes?
What other color
should it match with?
[musingly]
Ancienttt pinkkk…

[smile]
You see what I mean!
